Shou Lao Statue

This traditional mudman figurine is a detailed depiction of the revered God of Longevity.  He is clothed in a beautiful flambe blue robe that varies in shades from a deep midnight blue to a pale turquoise interspersed with splashes of brown.  He has his his staff in his right hand and  in the left he is holding a peach, which is recognized as a symbol of long life.

The figurine is approximately 8" tall. There is no damage and the statue is in "like new" condition. I have found only one other like this statue on the market.

Markings that appear to be numbers are incised on the base. These are likely factory markings. The statue dates to the mid - late 20th century.
