Item Description

This Pair of Antique Miniature Chinese Cloisonne Vases are fine examples of a late Qing, early Republic cloisonne. The smaller vase features various colors, including pink, white, blue, brown, yellow and rust red, forming the prunus trees and blossoms on a background of clouds with a ruyi border. The larger vase also has a ruyi upper border with a turquoise background. The pattern features the "thousand flowers" motif, with chrysanthemums and prunus blossoms among the various flowers. The counter enamel of both vases is turquoise.

There are no signs of damage; however there is wear consistent with age. The larger vases is 3.25 inches tall and the smaller is approximately 3 inches tall.
