This pair of 19th Century Rose Medallion bowls depict a classic Chinese court scene that is commonly seen on porcelain decorated in the Rose Medallion style. The bowls are molded into an unusual cockle shell form, making them more unique than most rose medallion bowls. The painting is very finely done with precise shading that makes the decorations more vivid. There is no damage; although there is minor wear to the enamel and wear to the gilt trim.
The bowls have a diameter of approximately 4.75 inches.
