Citrus Handmade Sour Cherry Spoon Sweet (Vyssino)

This traditional dessert is handmade with whole pitted sour cherries floating in an all-natural syrup of sugar and water - no preservatives or additives at all, just simple island sweetness. “Spoon Sweets” are that quintessentially Greek accompaniment to coffee, and the sour cherry version is perhaps the most classic and well-known of them all. They are served as you’re welcomed to someone’s home, with a spoonful on a small plate. But don’t just save it for visitors, share it with all your family and friends!

We love Vyssino as a topping for cheesecake, flan, panna cotta, yogurt parfaits. Add it in your chia pudding, or your morning oatmeal, toast or bagel or top crepes, waffles, pancakes and muffins.
