Bamboo Handwoven on a Loom Scarf

Query submitted

This scarf was woven by Debra with ethically sourced Bamboo thread.  Bamboo is a grass that grows quickly; needs little water; absorbs carbon dioxide and prevents soil erosion. As a fiber for weaving, it is quite remarkable. Bamboo is very tough (especially if you have ever tried to get it out of your yard) but the thread is exceptionally soft and drapes well. The colors are subtle and clear.  Feels cool to the touch, so great for summertime too.

All scarves are approx. 6.5 inches x 67” long

Handwash and hang to dry.
