Zelos Authentic Greek Artisan was created in 2017 by Maria Kalomenidou. Maria wanted to share with others her zēlos (“zeal”) for healthy and tasty Greek food and to give back to the land of her birth by helping authentic Greek artisans find their American audience. With Zelos Maria shares her desire to showcase the flavors and drive that are modern Greece.

We take pride in sourcing rare and memorable scents. Our collections are uniquely distinguished and exotically crafted, yielding an eco-friendly 40+ hour burn time. Our candles have been mindfully sourced using 100% pure soy wax, derived domestically from American farmers. We always use lead & zinc free cotton wicks with phthalate-free fragrances. Infused with natural essential oils, each candle is petroleum-free and individually hand-poured in re-usable glass containers.
