Today we are celebrating Female Founder Friday (the first Friday in December!) by announcing our partnership with WBEC-Pacific and the launch of the WBEC-Pacific + TheWMarketplace collection. We are proud to announce that shoppers can find certified Women-Owned businesses on TheWMarketplace, easily identifiable with the "Women-Owned" badge:

Although all of the businesses on TheWMarketplace are self-identified as woman-owned, the WBENC certification process is one that allows businesses access to government and corporate contracts that require a 3rd party certification. It is a rigorous process with a widely recognized and respected certification. 

This partnership has been in development for many months, with the support of WBEC's CEO, Janice Greene, and her amazing team. The WBEC-Pacific community also can easily access this collection through a link on the WBEC-Pacific homepage. 

Businesses in this collection include Mamie's Pies, Pretty Pokets, Petique and many more.

TheWMarketplace was thrilled to received it's Women-Owned certification in the summer of 2021 and is excited to utilize the many resources of this organization in pursuit of its mission to be The Economic Engine for Women.
