With an eye for fashion and an unwavering commitment to foster a confident future generation, Krystle Krueger is changing the way that children’s clothes are created. She has always loved to create art and realized that this passion had the potential to make a change in an area that can benefit a child’s ability to be independent, creative and intelligent.
Growing up in Los Angeles, fashion, art and design were always a passion for Krystle, which led her to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in LA and earn a degree in Fashion Design. Upon graduating in 2015, Krystle spent the next few years working in the fashion industry creating designs and pieces. While she was successful at this work, Krystle knew that she had a calling to branch out into the entrepreneurial realm.
Dreaming of a world where people are kind to each other, strive to understand other cultures and explore their curiosities, Krystle makes an impact wherever she goes. She lights up the room with creativity and compassion. Most recently, her positive impact in the fashion industry involves children, education and expression.
One month ago, in June of 2021, Krystle launched her new company, Fashion is Art, and boldly brought her vision to a reality. As Krystle strives to create a better future for her young daughter and children all over the world, she intentionally incorporates goodness into each element of her business. From the physical aspect to mental growth to a healthy planet, Krystle has thought of it all. Each item is made with the intention of the child putting it on themselves, enabling them to feel empowered and independent. The clothes are also inspired from fashion of other cultures and intend to educate children about how people in other parts of the world dress. Additionally, each order includes a recipe, game or activity from different cultures which provides an educational component to her business. And lastly, each garment is sustainably made with 100 percent recycled materials. Krystle hopes for each child to be strong and independent, and Fashion is Art enables her to watch that goal come closer to reality.
