Petra Neiger’s inspiration to study ayurvedic medicine came from years of sustained stress and serious health issues that western medicine wasn’t able to effectively address. From this time of difficulty came a whole new path of study and a new business, Red Pantz, focused on helping people to live well and thrive through self-care. The WMarketplace is thrilled to share Petra’s story of healing and inspiration –and her incredible wellness products!

Robyn Sabel

...[I] am the founder of Red Pants to help people live well, thrive with sanity and do good in the world.

What inspired you to start your business?

Earlier in my career, I was experiencing sustained levels of stress, leading to a job-related burnout as my body was "shutting down". In allopathic terms, my blood work was "fine", my vitals were "fine", except I wasn't fine. Despite symptoms that were affecting my daily life, the only thing allopathic (western) medicine could put a label on was the unexpected, weird occurrence of skin cancer - twice within a few months.

That’s what inspired my ayurveda journey and company. I became a board-certified ayurvedic medicine practitioner and earned a Master’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine. I also serve on the board of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), and am the founder of Red Pantz to help people live well, thrive with sanity and do good in the world.

What is the mission of Red Pantz?

Red Pantz is about health and self-care for more wellness, happiness and productivity so you can do the things you love more, better. Our approach is based on time-tested, ancient ayurvedic wisdom mixed with research-backed modern science, and many years of applying it in demanding corporate environments.

MY24/7 by Red Pantz, our premium USDA-certified organic self-care collection is packed with nature’s finest treasures to help support your skin, body and mind throughout the day, every day.

How did you hear about The WMarketplace?

I learned about The WMarketplace’s partnership with the Conscious Beauty Collective and joined at that time.

Red Pantz is about health and self-care for more wellness, happiness and productivity so you can do the things you love more, better.

What has been the most exciting or rewarding part of owning your own business?

Knowing that my products are helping people. When I people tell me that something I said, or something I did or the products they received from Red Pantz are helping them, that is so rewarding.

Do you have any advice for other women who are getting started in business?

My advice is simple: Do it!
