Christine Stoffels is a woman for others. It is evident in each strategic career move she has made. With each company or non-profit she has worked for, the passion and commitment to serving others is steadfast. For the past 27 years, Christine has focused her attention on making the lives of others better, and in turn, bringing joy and positivity to her community and those that she serves.
After graduating from the University of Washington, Christine spent the next two years serving in the Peace Corps in Guatemala. There she focused on small business development, supporting three cooperatives and four women-owned businesses in an effort to bring stronger autonomy to each family as their income grew.
Her career in service did not end when she returned to the United States. Living in Los Angeles, she utilized her keen leadership skills and became the operations director for the South Central Family Health Center. In 2002, Christine moved to Seattle and spent the next eight years working for the YMCA, where she specialized in family and community planning. Her passion for large-scale positive impact was deeply woven into her time at the YMCA. With a rocky childhood herself, Christine understands the importance of a sound and stable upbringing. She poured her energy into making lasting changes in the organization that directly made an impact to over 5,000 families.
For more than a decade, she has built and run her own consulting firm, Christine Stoffels Consulting. She uses her years of leadership experience to advise people in career transition and to facilitate corporate culture change. She strives to build organizational effectiveness with rigor and fun and focuses on leadership vision and culture alignment. Driven by an excitement to share her vision and “support leaders and teams to do and be better for each other” she cannot wait to see the long-term positive results that are inevitable due to her joyful and experienced guidance.
After years of experience in community-centered organizations, Christine knows her stuff. She has the passion and knowledge on what it takes to make life better for others, whether in the corporate setting or non-profit. As Christine continues to spread wisdom, leadership and joy to others, she is in turn creating a better world for all.
